Who Knew? The Citi Rewards+ Credit Card Has Offers

So the other day, I was screwing around in my Citi app when I stumbled upon something shocking.

Apparently, the Citi Rewards+ credit card has offers.

Although tricky to find, turns out there were several worthwhile rewards to be had in the Citi app.

A Sampling Of The Offers:

I found the following offers (among others): $5 off of Exxon Mobile, $20 off Expedia, $10 off of BP, 6% off of Plan Check, and $250 off of Carnival Cruises.

How To Find These Citi Rewards+ Offers

This goes without saying, but you’ll need to have the Citi Rewards+ credit card.

1. Open the Citi App.
2. Click on “Services” at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on Rewards & Benefits.
4. When you get to the “My Citi” page, scroll down and click on the “Green Star” area that says “See What You’re Missing” (“See Offers For You”).
5. Find “Merchant Offers” at the bottom of the “Products & Offers” page and click “See All”.
6. Select your Citi Rewards+ Card from the top.
7. All of your offers will now appear. You will have to scroll down to see all the offers.

The Bottom-Line: Who Knew? Citi Rewards+ Has Offers

While it’s ridiculous to have to follow 7 steps to get there, you may find some potentially valuable offers waiting for you when you do.

Although I didn’t see offers on any of my other Citi cards, it appears the app infrastructure is now built into the app to allow offers on more cards. Guess we’ll have to wait and see on that.

For now, it’s nice to see Citi joining the “offers” party with Amex and Chase – especially considering these offers are available on the “no annual fee” Citi Rewards+ Card.
