Hilton and American Express are adding valuable new benefits to the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card.
Valuable New Benefits Added To The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card
Due to the travel limitations in 2020, Hilton and Amex have decided to [temporarily] add new benefits to offset the now near-impossible-to-use travel benefits of the Hilton Honors Aspire Card and to justify the card’s hefty $495 annul fee.
The New Hilton Honors Aspire Card Benefits
The most valuable of the new benefits for most is going to be the $250 Hilton Resort credit that can be used at U.S. restaurants from June 1 through August 21, 2020. Equally valuable will be the Free Weekend Night Rewards that can now be used any night of the week and will now be valid for 24 months after the date of issuance.
The extra points at supermarkets and base points toward Lifetime Diamond Status are nice touches, but likely won’t be a factor in getting (or keeping) the Hilton Honors Aspire.
The Bottom-Line: Valuable New Benefits Added To The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card
Although these new benefits may not be as valuable as those added to the Business Platinum Card, they still go a long way toward ensuring card members won’t lose value on the benefits they already have.
I applaud Hilton and Amex for moving fast to act in the best interest of their card members.
