MileagePlus members are now able to get a major discount off the regular cost of membership of $179 per year.
Of course, the discount depends on your United MileagePlus status. Here’s the new pricing from the Official CLEAR website.

Is this a good deal? Yes!
Is this deal right for you? Well, that depends.
Do you live in a city or frequently travel to a city that has CLEAR employed at the airport? Do you already have TSA Precheck and/or Global Entry or a credit card that gives you up to a $100 credit for TSA Precheck or Global Entry? Do you use the new Mobil Passport app?
The answers to these questions will tell you if CLEAR may be right for you. In my case, I don’t really have a use for CLEAR as I have found TSA Precheck and Global Entry to be quite sufficient in my travels (and I get these free courtesy of my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card).
However, if you are a MileagePlus member and are interested in CLEAR, this may be the deal you were waiting for.
