Front Desk & Check-In

Check-in was, as expected, very friendly and professional.

I was told I had been given a room *upgrade to a higher floor – the 12th Floor Penthouse to be exact.

Bedroom Area

The Deluxe Two Queen Room at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is a spacious and opulent accommodation option.

It features two queen beds with premium bedding, a sitting area, and a luxurious marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub. The room is elegantly decorated and offers modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, large walk-in closet, high-speed internet access, and a large bathroom with Diptyque products.

My personal favorite feature of the room was the large balcony terrace and the views of Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

The view spanned the Hollywood Hills, Downtown skyline, Beverly Hills, and Century City skyline.

Jean-Georges Beverly Hills: Dinner Menu

Dinner options at the resort include the Michelin-starred restaurant, Jean-Georges Beverly Hills, where guests can savor exquisite cuisine in a sophisticated setting. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and innovative culinary creations.

Breakfast At Jean-Georges Beverly Hills

We opted to use our Hilton Honors Diamond $50 room breakfast credit at Jean-Georges Beverly Hills, a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The space was bustling for breakfast and for good reason. The food was surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) – excellent. I went with the Eggs Benedict (with Salmon) and a vanilla latte, both were delicious.

The Rooftop Area

Getting to the rooftop requires a special elevator from the lobby or rooms. Once there, guests will have access to the Rooftop by JG and the swimming pool areas.

Once on the Rooftop, guests are treated to wonderful views of West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills (including the Beverly Hilton next door).

The rooftop bar. Rooftop by JG, and swimming pool at the resort provide a chic and trendy atmosphere. Guests can unwind with handcrafted cocktails, enjoy panoramic views of the city, and take a refreshing dip in the pool while taking in the breathtaking surroundings.

FHOP Tip: What’s Nearby: There are plenty of activities to enjoy near the resort. Guests can explore the upscale boutiques and flagship stores on Rodeo Drive, indulge in gourmet dining at renowned restaurants, or take a scenic drive along Mulholland Drive. For those seeking entertainment, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Universal Studios are just a short distance away.

The Bottom-Line Review: Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, California)

In conclusion, our experience at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with impeccable service and a warm welcome.

The resort’s luxurious amenities, including the stunning rooftop area and elegantly designed rooms, surpassed our expectations. The dining options, from the breakfast at the Michelin-starred Jean-Georges Beverly Hills restaurant to the drinks at the rooftop bar were outstanding.

The location in the heart of Beverly Hills provided easy access to renowned shopping destinations and cultural attractions. I can easily recommend the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills to couples looking for a romantic getaway, or tourists looking to “go big” when in Los Angeles at a place where they can legit rub elbows with billionaires or Hollywood types (Kanye West actually lived here for a while). The best part? You can do it all for 120,000 Hiltons Honors points or with a Free Night Certificate.

With all these factors combined, we can easily rate our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills a perfect score.

Final Rating: 10 out of 10.
