One of the main reasons I selected the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers for my first stay in Mexico City was the access I’d have to the Sheraton Club Lounge thanks to my Starwood Preferred Guest Business card.
Review: Sheraton Club Lounge, Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers (Mexico City)
The Sheraton Club Lounge is located on the 18th floor of the main tower (South tower). Scan your room key to gain access.
The Lounge Area:
There were a couple of couches and a flat-screen television sprawled out around the corner from the dining room.
The Dining Area:
The View From The Lounge:
The Breakfast Spread:
The all important breakfast spread was really great. You could eat buffet-style, or order breakfast specialties from a menu.
The Nespresso Coffee Machine:
This machine was a beast. It came with a great variety of coffees (sign me up for the dark stuff) and could quickly whip up an espresso or latte (with steamed milk!).
The Snack Spread:
The between-meals snack spread was nothing special – but you could grab some sodas, fruit juice, cookies, or a banana.
The Dinner Spread:
Along with the breakfast, this is where the Sheraton Club Lounge really shined. Free wine? Yes please.
The Bottom Line Review: Sheraton Club Lounge, Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers (Mexico City)
Just because you could fill up at the Sheraton Club Lounge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and everything in between), doesn’t mean you should.
Keep in mind that Mexico City is a culinary paradise with extremely affordable apex dining options and experiences. True, the Sheraton Club Lounge is a great option –but you’ll still want to head out for a taste of the truly exceptional world-renowned local stuff (at least for some meals) or you’d be remiss.
It should be noted the service staff waiting the lounge were great. They were very frequent and heavy handed with the wine. As such, although not required per se – you should consider tipping at this lounge.
I highly recommend this Sheraton Club Lounge.
Cheers!
