The Bottom-Line Review: Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua
The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, easily rates a stellar 9.2 out of 10 rating, highlighting its exceptional location and luxurious amenities. As Bonvoy Platinum members were received a modest room “upgrade” to a higher-floor accommodation that had such an outstanding view that it really did enhance our overall experience. The property grounds were both gorgeous and beautifully manicured, the interior was stunning and upscale, and the service was outstanding. The resort exceeded our expectations of a luxury stay in Hawaii.
The crown jewel of the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua was the exceptional three tiered pool (we spent most of our time there). The hotel also had easy access to the area’s pristine beaches and recreational activities. We were lucky enough to even play a round at the Kapalua Plantation Golf Course (which came with a $30 discount per person as guests of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua). Our “free” stay on points did come at a price – with a $50 for daily valet parking and a $55 dollar daily resort fee. Nevertheless, the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, was a memorable, secluded, and luxurious stay that we really, really enjoyed.
The best part? The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua was a great point redemption value at 1.8 cents per point!
