What’s better than a free entrance to a Priority Pass Lounge? A free meal at a Priority Pass Restaurant of course!

Review: Priority Pass – Timberline Steaks And Grille, Denver International Airport [DEN] (Denver, CO)

As one of the very first restaurants in the Priority Pass portfolio, Timberline Steaks and Grille has become a “must-visit” for card members as it is pretty much the model for what a Priority Pass restaurant should be.

Location

Inside Denver International Airport (DEN), Timberline Steaks and Grille is located (past security) in Concourse C, which is also home to Southwest Airlines.

If you aren’t flying Southwest, don’t worry – you can easily hop the inter-concourse train from anywhere in the airport and arrive at Concourse C in under 10 minutes.

Although the Priority Pass website says you are required to show a “DEN Outbound Departure Boarding Pass with confirmed same day travel”, I can confirm from personal experience there’s a very good chance people on arriving flights may also be able to use this benefit.

In my recent experience, I was asked to show a boarding pass upon check-in; I let them know I had just arrived, and I was promptly seated.

Priority Pass Rules – Timberline Steaks & Grille

First and foremost, you’ll need an eligible Priority Pass. There are now tons of credit cards that come with this benefit, including the American Express Hilton Ascend card and the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

The Credit Benefit

Priority Pass cardholders receive $28 per person (for up to as many people as your card allows). In practice, you should let your server know that you are a Priority Pass member and have your card ready to be scanned.

The $28 credit can be used on anything in the restaurant, however, gratuities are not included. As such, you should always tip on the total bill pre- benefit discount.

The Rules

The Bar

The most important part of any airport food establishment is, of course, the bar.

A Bloody for breakfast

The bar is fully loaded on the alcohol side…

…and fully stocked on the beer side.

Timberline Steaks and Grille has a large assortment of local Colorado craft brews on tap.

Oh yeah, breakfast at the bar is pretty good too.

The Eggs Benedict – as awesome as it looks

Seated Breakfast

Having tried the bar, I opted for the seated breakfast on a subsequent visit.

Overall, the menu prices are very reasonable and the selection has something for everybody.

The very reasonable breakfast menu

The drink menu

Every time I’ve visited Timberline Steaks and Grille, I’ve been seated promptly, even on days the restaurant was busy.

The amazing Smoked Salmon Breakfast Pizza – a personal favorite!

The Southwestern Omelette

Of course, no airport breakfast would be complete without the Ultimat Blood Mary [yes, that’s how it’s spelled on the menu – like the vodka].

The breakfast of champions!

The Bottom Line Review: Priority Pass – Timberline Steaks And Grille, Denver International Airport [DEN] (Denver, CO)

All-in-all, I’m a huge fan of Timberline Steaks and Grille. The food has been great every single time I’ve been there, and the service is always on point. Not to mention the drinks.

In fact, for what you get bang-for-your-buck, the $28 Priority Pass credit per person almost seems to-good-to-be-true. I asked a waitress what percentage of customers are Priority Pass holders and she said, “about 50%”, but every table I’ve ever seen had a Priority Pass card laying on it.

The bottom line is this is a great restaurant with great food, great drinks, and consistently great service in my experience(s). If you have a Priority Pass, you have no excuse not to try Timberline Steaks and Grille.

Highly Recommended!
