If you read this blog [semi-regularly], you’ll no doubt already know I’m a big fan of Las Vegas.
That being said, I usually stick to my usual favorites, but I will try something new when the opportunity presents itself.
Well, the opportunity presented itself in the form of a Wyndham Rewards Go Free redemption (more on that in a bit).

About Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace
Nobu Hotel is billed as an upscale, Japanese-inspired boutique hotel located within the Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Benefits To All Guests Staying At Nobu Hotel
The Redemption
As I mentioned, I knew Wyndham had planned a massive devaluation to their rewards program, so I wanted to hurry up and take advantage of the 15,000 points I had racked up.
As luck would have it, I found that Nobu Hotel Caesar’s Palace had a terrific redemption opportunity: A Nobu Deluxe 2 Queen room which went for $429.71 on the Saturday night I wanted could be mine for just 15,000 points!
This meant the redemption was worth about 2.86 CPP, outstanding for Wyndham Rewards.
The Check-In
I parked at Caesar’s Palace and walked the long pathway through the casino to Nobu.
Once inside, I was shown the way to the front desk where I waited behind about 3 people.
The front desk staff was friendly and quickly checked me in. They took the time to explain the priority access benefits for all guests before handing me my room key.

Nobu Deluxe 2 Queen Room
When I got to my room, I was initially pleased by the overall Japanese aesthetic. The room was bright, clean, and well appointed.
The beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were of the non-firm down variety which I loathe.

View From The Room
For the price of this room, I was surprised to find that I had no view of the city.
Also, I was surprised to find out that my balcony was a “false balcony” for decor only.

The Check-Out
The check-out was quick and efficient. I was still charged a resort fee of $44.22 as well as a parking fee (in the parking garage) of $10.
The Bottom-Line Review: Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace (Las Vegas, NV)
My overall impression of the Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace was that – for the price (about $500 a night) – it was not really all-that “premium”. Instead, it felt more as it really was – a renovated old room at Caesars Palace. Although there were some quality wooden accents and nice superficial touches, does slapping some paint on it and adding a Japanese decor really justify the premium price? I would say “no”.
The walls were paper-thin, the redesigned room somehow still felt dated, and even the room paint job was a bit shoddy. I really wanted to like this place, but I really can’t imagine paying $500 a night to stay here, especially when the renovated Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas does the same thing only ten-times better.
The Bottom-Line Rating: 7 out of 10. The hotel does has something positive things going for it, but premium quality and impeccable service are not it. Recommended if you have free Wyndham Rewards nights points burn.
Cheers!
