Having just finished a great breakfast at the Grand Club Lounge at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, we headed to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) – Bangkok’s other airport, to catch our flight out to Mandalay, Myanmar.
Review: Miracle Lounge 2, Terminal 1 – Inside Security (Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), Bangkok, Thailand)
As a Priority Pass Lounge, the Miracle Lounge 2, Terminal 1 (Inside Security) is only accessible to passengers departing on international flights.
The check-in to this lounge is located on the gate-level where you’ll find this desk wrapped around a staircase.
Once you have been verified, you can then head upstairs to the lounge.

Bloody Mary PSA
Being that it was still early in the morning, the first thing we did was head straight to the bar to whip up some Bloody Marys.
The Miracle Lounge 2 had all the ingredients needed to make a proper Bloody (salt, pepper, lime, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, etc.), but the tomato juice is where things went horribly wrong.
The tomato juice they use is from Thai sweet tomatoes, and this juice is very, very, sweet. Our Bloody Marys were sadly undrinkable. I soon realized the sweet tomato/Bloody Mary problem was not only a problem with the Miracle Lounge 2, but a larger problem you’ll find with most Bloody Marys throughout Thailand. The sweetness kills.
As such, stick with something else. We went with the Red Label. It was a wise decision.
The Bottom-Line Review: Miracle Lounge 2, Terminal 1 – Inside Security (Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), Bangkok, Thailand)
The Miracle Lounge 2, Terminal 1 (Inside Security) is a niche lounge as you can only access it if you are flying an international flight departing from DMK.
If this is you, then this lounge is perfect. You’ll likely find it relatively empty, large and spacious – with a nice quiet area for sleeping and a large spread of coffee, juices, hot food, baked goods, and alcohol.
Just stay away from the Bloody Marys.
