The Bottom-Line Review: Everline Resort & Spa (Lake Tahoe, California)
We were really enjoyed our [summertime] stay at Everline Resort & Spa, Destination By Hyatt. The location was a 10 minute drive from Lake Tahoe, situated in the beautiful Olympic Valley area, where he towering Sierra Nevada mountains served as the backdrop to the resort, highlighting picturesque Washeshu Creek and golf course. The breakfast buffet at Cascades was a highlight (I mean, they had a dedicated Bloody Mary bar), especially for Globalist members who received complimentary breakfast. Speaking of Globalist members, we received excellent treatment as we were given a room upgrade to a large 1-bedroom suite with a fireplace which was a game-changer in terms of comfort (although this was during the summer off-season).
We also really enjoyed the resort’s range of recreational options, including walking the picturesque golf course and creek, hitting the pool, watching the kids play soccer on the mini-field, and checking out some of the many shops on property. We also caught a wonderful mountain sunset from the pavilion next to the centerpiece cascading waterfall. In fact, if I had to name a negative to our stay, I would say the resort may be slightly dated and show some minor signs of wear and tear from being a popular ski resort. I can easily recommend this hotel to really anybody looking for an upscale stay in the Lake Tahoe area including couples, families, ski bums and other recreational nuts. We definitely plan on returning.
