Front Desk & Check-In

For this stay, I opted to skip the front-desk and check-in with a digital key.

As such, I was offered a choice of rooms on several high-floors, but I was not offered a true room upgrade.

The Deluxe One King Bed Room at the Conrad Los Angeles was a spacious and comfortable room, featuring high-end amenities such as a 55-inch HDTV, a Nespresso coffee maker, and a well-stocked minibar.

The room also came equipped with Mojave Ghost toiletry products from Byredo, a luxury brand known for its unique fragrances.

Dining Options & Chef Jose Andres’s Restaurants

The Conrad’s signature dining options were Chef Jose Andres’s two restaurants – San Laurel and Agua Viva – which both offer delicious Spanish-inspired cuisine in a sleek and modern setting.

Breakfast options at the hotel include a buffet-style spread with a range of hot and cold dishes, as well as an à la carte menu.

The hotel also offers in-room dining options 24 hours a day.

Breakfast At San Laurel

I opted to use my Diamond food and beverage credit for breakfast at San Laurel, where I went with a cafe latte, freshly squeezed orange juice, and the Avocado Eggs Benedict with Jamon Serrano – which was absolutely delicious.

I was also given a small but delicious baked treat which I believe was based on a “tres-leches” style dessert.
