We had a delightful Indonesian breakfast (and coffee) at the Concordia Lounge, and it was now time to board the flight to our next destination, Bali.

Boarding An Air Asia Airbus A320 At JOG International Airport

Perfect flying weather!

The Air Asia Flight

The Air Asia morning flight from JOG to DPS was officially listed as a 55 minute flight.

We would be flying aboard Air Asia’s preferred aircraft of choice, the Airbus A320.

As a low-cost carrier, Air Asia provided only complementary water; meals, snacks, and alcohol were available for purchase.

Flying Over Java (With A View Of The Merapi Volcano)

Immediately after departure, the Merapi volcano (and others) became visible out of the port side window.

Hard to believe, but the day before I was riding in a Jeep on that very volcano.

Did I mention I really like Air Asia?

The domestic flight was under $50 USD, and the actual flying time came in at about 45 minutes.

The flight path took us  slightly southeast over Java, then along the southwestern coast of Bali as we approached Denpasar.

The Final Review: Highly Recommended! – Another easy morning flight – island hopping in Indonesia (courtesy of Air Asia).

Cheers!
