Timing-wise, I’ve found I receive this email the day after my purchase. I’ve also found I receive the 35% Membership Points back in my account 1 month after my airfare purchase.
Remember, when purchasing airfare through Amex Travel, you have 24 hours to cancel your reservation without penalty. Use this time to confirm via the next-day email confirmation that you will be getting the 35% rebate.
