Not to be outdone, the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card comes with a free weekend night annually, and earns an additional free weekend night when you spend $60,000 annually.
How To Track How Close You Are To Earning A Free Weekend Night
Fortunately, American Express makes tracking your spending toward a free weekend night easy.
Simply login to your American Express account (on a computer) and look on the right hand side of the screen. You’ll find the following box below your Hilton Honors point balance.
Next, click on “Earn a Free Weekend Night Reward” to get the following detailed information.
Here, you can see your spending progress and how much you have left to spend to earn the free weekend night down to the penny. Simple.

The Bottom-Line: Earning & Using The Free Weekend Night Awards On The Hilton Honors Cards From American Express
I primarily put my non-bonused spending on these cards because I’ve found that spending $15,000 a year will earn me a minimum of 45,000 Hilton Honors points at 3x.
This earning, coupled with a free weekend night (which is redeemable for a property up to 90,000 points), allows me to essentially earn about 4%+ back on all my non-bonused spending. Not bad at all!
