I was recently messing around in the American Express mobile app on my iPhone when I noticed something unexpected: A spending offer for 10,000 extra Membership Rewards Points!

I’m not sure exactly how this offer was targeted or if it is only available through the mobile app. I’ve only seen this offer for my Platinum Business card. If you have a Platinum Business card from AMEX, I recommend logging into your mobile app (and maybe even the desktop website) to see if this offer shows up.
As you can see, this is an offer to earn an extra 10,000 Membership Rewards points by spending $10,000 by June 1, 2019. Remember, this is in addition to the 1x or 1.5x points (on $5,000 transactions or more) you’d normally earn with your Platinum Business card, making this offer potentially worth 2.5x on all spending!
And who doesn’t like extra Membership Rewards points?
