As far as I can remember, this is the first spending offer I’ve ever received on a Barclays card, and it seems to be a pretty good one at that.
I value HawaiianMiles conservatively at about 1 cent per mile, so 40,000 HawaiianMiles should be worth about $400+.
This particular spending offer is great because [in theory] it should be possible to earn 40,000 HawaiianMiles with just $4,000 in spending – provided you complete the spending requirements entirely in the grocery, drug store, and restaurant categories.
