Most of you already know that many airlines and banks have their own on-line shopping portals where you can earn major point bonuses and keep your points from expiring. Well, Marriott has just joined the fun by launching its very own on-line shopping portal called “Marriott Rewards More“.

To be honest, I always forget to use shopping portals. There are so many to choose from and I personally value Bank Points much higher than hotel points. Never-the-less, a 1,000 bonus point offer is always tempting and may be worthwhile if you have the Chase Marriott Rewards Card.
Do note that I, along with many others who have tried this portal, have ran into strange quicks and bugs like: not all companies being displayed when you use the phone app vs. the computer portals, mysterious changing point earing values listed, and dead links when you try and buy certain things (I’m looking at you gift cards on Petco). I’m hopeful these bugs will get worked out soon.
Still, if you are a Marriott or SPG fan, this shopping portal may be great news for you – if you can remember to use it.
