The bottom line on this offer is you can earn an easy $50 when you spend $1,000 in 2 months (that’s a 5% return). However, when you couple that with the 1,000 bonus Hyatt points you’ll earn on spending $1,000, that number goes up.
Hyatt points are among my favorite point currencies, as such, I personally value World of Hyatt points at about 2.5 ppc – so an additional 1,000 Hyatt points are worth about $25 bucks to me.
