About Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas
Once upon a time, the very land where Resorts World now stands was home to the legendary Stardust Resort and Casino. But as the curtain fell on the Stardust, a new chapter began. Enter the Genting Group, a global powerhouse in hospitality and entertainment. In 2013, they acquired the site from Boyd Gaming, and wasted no time unveiling their new project: Resorts World Las Vegas. Resorts World marked the first new resort to grace the Las Vegas Strip since the Cosmopolitan’s debut in 2010. But Resorts World wasn’t just another hotel-casino; it was the most expensive ever developed in Sin City.

Resorts World stands tall on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, adjacent to the Fashion Show Mall and across from the Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion and the new Fontainebleau Luxury Hotel.
Self-Parking is $18 per vehicle, while valet parking is available at $35 per day.

The Hilton’s lobby is a sleek design, punctuated by shades of blue, cream, and gold. You’ll find iconic Warhol works throughout the property, starting with the Marilyn Monroe Warhol at the front desk.
As expected, the check-in line was super-long. Unexpectedly, the dedicated Hilton Honors Elite lines we not operational.

What Does Hilton Honors Diamond Member Loyalty Get You?
As Diamond elites, we were supposed to receive the following perks:
- VIP Check-In: Skip the lines and enjoy a seamless arrival. Nope, the line was closed.
- Exclusive Lounge Access: Sip cocktails and savor hors d’oeuvres in the private lounge. Nope.
- Late Checkout: Extra time to soak in the Vegas vibes. Nope, “unavailable”.
- Room Upgrades: Based on availability. Kind of: We got 2 Queens instead of a King.
- Daily F&B Credit: Yes, $15 per person.

Our room featured two plush queen beds, a workspace, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
I was surprised to see that, like its siblings The Conrad and Crockfords LXR, the Hilton boasted the high-quality Byredo Mojave Ghost amenities.

We used our $15 F&B credits at Suns Out Buns Out & Randy’s Doughnuts. That was the correct choice.
Dining Options
Deadmou5 At Zouk
Randomly, after eating some pizza, some bouncers offered is free admission to Zauk Nightclub. To our surprise, when we walked in we realized deadmau5 was spinning, and the place was banging. It was the best completely random kind of awesome.
Things to Do Within Resorts World
- Dining: From street food delights to award-winning steaks, the culinary scene it strong at Resorts World. Don’t miss the street food hall or my favorite spot – Wally’s!
- Shopping: Fashion Show Mall is just steps away.
- Swimming: There are several outdoor pools to choose from.
- Nightlife: I mean, deadmau5 at Zauk Nightclub, what’s not to like?
Resort World Now Chargers For…Ice
Well, I may have spoken too soon. “$5 for ice” is definitely something not to like.

The Bottom-Line Review: Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas
I’ve stayed at Resorts World Las Vegas many times, but only ever at Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords LAX Las Vegas. Though it often gets a bad wrap, I really like Resort World, so I jumped at the chance to finally stay at Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas. The special rate we found at booking made the decision to go with the Hilton easy, as did the handy $25 drink credit.
What surprised me most about the Hilton, was just how similar the room and overall stay experience was to my previous stays at Conrad and Crockfords. The 2 Queen Room was very similar, it had the same vibe, was about the same size and layout, and even had the same Byredo toiletries. The Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World gives you almost all the same access to Resorts World amenities as the other hotels for a fraction of the price, including its gaming floor, bars, sports book, nightclubs, wellness spa, and outdoor pools, and dining.
Where it differed was the service. The Hilton lobby is a madhouse compared to the Conrad lobby, and having no operational dedicated Hilton Honors line was a travesty. The room “upgrade” was basically negligible and the Hilton Diamond $15 F&B credit didn’t go far.
In summary, the Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World is a solid stay with room for refinement when it comes to the customer experience. Nevertheless, I’d stay there again and recommend it to travelers on a budget or Hilton Honors members looking for a good rate (or a good value on a point redemption).
